Effective date: July 2, 2026

Who we are

Parenting With Purpose (parentingwithpurpose.help) is operated by Tiffany and Trevor. We build free, accountless learning tools for families. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Most tools on this site do not require an account. We designed the platform so parents can use the utilities without handing over personal details about themselves or their children.

Information we collect

Information you choose to give us

  • Email address, if you subscribe to updates through our footer or other signup forms.
  • Idea text, if you use the Idea Reality Check tool. We store the idea you enter so we can improve the product. We do not ask for your name or email in that tool.
  • Voluntary printable sharing, if you explicitly consent to share an anonymized worksheet idea for public reuse. We store only the sanitized topic, age band, and worksheet summary you approve, not child names or personal details.
  • Bring-your-own-key AI requests, if you paste an OpenRouter API key to generate extra printable ideas. Your key is sent directly to OpenRouter for that request and is not stored on our servers.

Information collected automatically

  • Anonymous session identifier, generated in your browser with crypto.randomUUID() and stored in localStorage. It is not tied to your name, email, or child.
  • Usage events, such as which page or tool was used and coarse interaction counts. These may be sent to our server and stored in Supabase when telemetry is enabled.
  • Local progress, such as learning-tool preferences or free-tier AI usage counters, stored in your browser only unless you explicitly submit consented content to our queue.
  • Standard web logs, including IP address, browser type, and request metadata, which our hosting provider (Vercel) may process to deliver and secure the site.
  • Analytics data, through Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics in production, which may include page views, device/browser information, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Rate-limit fingerprint, for Idea Reality Check only: we store a salted hash of your IP address. never the raw IP, to prevent abuse.

Information we do not collect

  • We do not require accounts for the core free tools on this site.
  • We do not ask children to create profiles or submit personal information.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use cross-site advertising profiles on this site.
  • Handwriting worksheets and most printable tools run in your browser. Worksheet content you type stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

How we use information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the free tools on the site.
  • Understand which features families find useful so we can prioritize better builds.
  • Send occasional email updates if you subscribed.
  • Prevent abuse of AI-powered and submission endpoints.
  • Publish approved educational Pins and roundup content to our owned Pinterest account.
  • Keep the site secure and diagnose technical issues.

Pinterest integration

We operate an internal Pinterest publishing tool for our own Parenting With Purpose account. It schedules and publishes approved educational Pins that link back to pages on this site.

This is not a public app for third parties. We do not offer Pinterest login to visitors of this site, and we do not access Pinterest accounts belonging to our users.

Pinterest may process information according to its own policies when we publish content through the Pinterest API. See Pinterest's Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

  • Vercel. hosting, deployment, and analytics.
  • Supabase. database storage for telemetry, optional email signups, idea submissions, and consented content queue entries.
  • Google Analytics. aggregate traffic measurement in production.
  • OpenRouter. AI generation when you use our hosted quota or provide your own API key.
  • Pinterest. publishing for our owned account only.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage and cookies for essential site function, anonymous session tracking, optional free AI quota counting, and analytics. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time, which removes anonymous identifiers and local progress stored on your device.

Disabling analytics cookies may reduce our ability to understand aggregate usage, but core tools should still work.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for parents, caregivers, and educators, not for children to sign up or submit personal information directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us using the details below and we will delete it.

Data retention

  • Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
  • Anonymous telemetry and idea submissions may be retained for product analysis.
  • Consented queue entries may be retained while they remain useful for publishing educational content.
  • Server and analytics logs are retained according to our providers' default periods.

Your choices

  • Do not subscribe if you prefer not to share an email address.
  • Clear browser storage to remove local anonymous identifiers and progress.
  • Decline voluntary printable-sharing prompts. sharing never blocks printing or tool use.
  • Use your own OpenRouter key only if you are comfortable with OpenRouter's terms.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided by contacting us through Strategic Consulting and marking your message "Privacy request".

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Companion apps in our ecosystem, such as The Sunday Plan, are separate products with their own privacy practices. Please review each product's site before signing up.
